Our Long-Term Vision
Hadinkai aims to establish a permanent Madrasah and Community Centre serving as a space for Islamic education, youth and family activities, community gatherings and organizational programs.
The Hadinkai Development Fund
The Development Fund was launched at the Society’s September 26, 2026 General Assembly. Members discussed an aspirational fundraising target of CAD $200,000 over three years. This is a target, not a statement of money already raised.
Contributions designated for the Development Fund are intended to be accounted for separately from general operating funds and used for their authorized development purpose.
How We Plan to Move Forward
Mobilize member pledges, supporters and other permitted funding opportunities.
Establish appropriate dedicated banking, authorizations, recordkeeping and reporting.
Assess needs, costs, partnerships, suitability and sustainability before any property commitment.
Financial Transparency
The Society’s proposed Development Fund Committee Terms of Reference describe a three-member finance structure and separate oversight of development and operating finances. Final committee policies and account arrangements will be published after authorization.
